We specialise search optimization for Google Local, Bing, which also includes Yahoo and Ananzi in South Africa.
Anybody can tell you they can optimize your website, but can they really? We've made a study of Google SEO and to prove it to you, you can have a look at the search results of our websites in Google.
As we cater for the South African market and more specifically our region, which is the West Rand of Gauteng, we have optimized most of our sites according to Google's localised or geo-targeted search engine results. You therefore need to use google.co.za and click on the "pages from South Africa" section.
Two things you must know, however: Nobody can guarantee you a top spot in a search engine and the search engine ranking of your keywords does not happen overnight.
For our own Print n Sign (http://printnsign.co.za) website you can type the following: (or copy and paste into the Google SA search engine from here)
Our own Business Card website (http://business-cards.za.net) is also getting better rankings in Google after the latest Google Panda algorithm update. Before then it did not show up in the first ten ranking spots.
Here are also some other keywords for websites we have optimised; type the following: (or copy and paste into the Google SA search engine from here)
and this list can go on until next year.
"Long tail keywords" are detailed keyword phrases which specifies what your website is about and what people look for when they search the web.
We make use of a lot of long tail keywords on web pages, because this is how your site is found by the prospect you want, coming from a search engine.
If you look at our search examples above for Print n Sign, for instance "laptop skins and stickers". These are the long tail keywords which bring us our customers from search engines. The competition is small and the page will always rank well for those words. We won't rank at all for the word "laptop" or "skin" and on the other side, the person searching for "laptop" is not looking for a laptop skin.
Statistics show that for any given topic, the top 100 keywords account for just 5.7% of all website traffic – while long tail keywords account for the remaining 94.3%!
Because they have less competition from other websites, long tail keywords give you more potential to rank highly in the search engines.
It’s been shown that people who search online using long tail keywords are far more likely to convert into buyers. When you weave a large number of long tail terms on your page, you generate highly targeted traffic.
We can only do SEO for certain websites and cannot guarantee any first place, or even a top ten place in any search engine for your chosen keywords. To enable us to get the best results we can for your website, your website must conform to the following criteria, amongst others:
Only if we are certain we can optimise the site, will we take on the task.
Seeing that you only pay for SEO results, we are not cheap. Ouch!
If you think we can help you get better search engine results than you are getting at the moment, please email us here and we will contact you to work out the next step.
